Disturbed announce new Warcraft 3 division, website, and LAN sponsorship
Disturbed, the long established UK Counter-Strike gaming team, is thrilled to announce a new Warcraft 3 gaming division and formal LAN sponsorship via CyberGamesZone, as well as a new website and IRC channel.
PuReBall, the esteemed UK RTS player, will be heading the new Warcraft 3 gaming division. Having played RTS games for years, PuReBall started competing in Warcraft 3 ten months ago, and since then has never looked back. Along the way he has claimed a string impressive list of victories, including that of pro-gamer TillerMaN, and more besides. PuReBall will be representing Disturbed at both the WorldCyberGames Qualifiers and the Cyberathlete Professional League in the near future, alongside maintaining his online reputation.
Disturbed are also pleased to announce that Newcastle’s finest LAN and internet gaming arena, CyberGamesZone, www.cybergameszone.com, will be comprehensively covering Disturbed’s LAN expenses, which is a huge boost to the team as far as travelling to competitions is concerned; it allows the team to compete in more tournaments and garner more experience.
To coincide with the new division and sponsorship, the long-awaited Disturbed website has been launched. Built upon an incredibly strong ASP backbone made by Milko, the graphics were implemented by Boz. The dynamic website allows for a multitude of features to promote Disturbed and their partners. The website, located at www.clan-disturbed.com, is currently hosted at www.uh-hosting.co.uk.
Disturbed will be moving their IRC channel too. Due to incorporating the CyberGamesZone abbreviation in our playing tag – d!sturbed.cgz – a migration to a different IRC channel was inevitable. Henceforth Disturbed will be located at #d!sturbed.cgz on Quakenet.
The collaboration of people and the expansion of the clan is of mutual benefit, and will help Disturbed remain regarded as one of the most prominent gaming teams in the UK.
